Cargo Trailer Camper Conversion Reveal – MotoHauler – New Build Walkthrough – First Look

Looking for cargo trailer conversion ideas? My build might help you. Many of these tips are good for van lifers, preppers, overlanders, tiny house builders, RV renovators, and all around builders and makers. This build is based on my needs which are:
? Traveling solo most of the time with a single motorcycle – Honda NC700
? Need to be able to work remotely, meaning great Internet + dedicated desk area
? Primarily boondocking, so significant battery power and solar panels + backup generator
? Not cramped, plenty of overhead room (7′ high ceiling)
? Air conditioning mandatory!
? Comfort prioritized over budget
? Kitchen simple, hot showers, toilet, great lighting
? Strong security since I will be away from the rig exploring by motorcycle

Whale Pump baby! I have one in my conversion as well. Well done, some great ideas. Are you by chance in Quartzsite this winter?

You did an amazing job Ryan!! I want one of those! It’s great to be able to go on YouTube and see how you’re doing. The camping trip looked fun too. It’s good to see you.

Great videos of your cargo trailer/camper. What is the dimensions of your trailer?

I would highly suggest you not use the propane heater! It will create an enormous amount of moisture inside the trailer causing a major mold issue. My suggestion would be a diesel heater or a propex propane vented heater or if you have access to power you can use a ceramic heater. Other than that looks like you have a good solid start to a fine camping rig!!

I like that you have put things in place and test camped before building cabinets. Looks quite practical

You’ve done a terrific job! And being willing to show your unfinished but definitely useable rig is a big help to people contemplating their own project. Thanks for the update and keep them coming.
