I just lost my power grid expectantly for over 36 hours (do to the low humidity and brisk Santa Ana winds the power company shut off the power to prevent wild fires in the case of lines being blown down). So, I decided that I need a generator to make life decent in case of any future power outage. I just purchased this generator on Amazon… I intend to run it solely on propane. Do I still need to add gasoline?

Mr. Harris: I have a question regarding measurements…. From the base where the physical mechanical parts are mounted to the top ot the highest part of the mechanics (without the fuel tank), how TALL the the generator? I need to know the measurements of the genset without the fuel tank. Trying to decide if this will replace my on-board Onan generator for my RV. The Onan has a lower profile, so I am limited on height… Please reply to anhoard@gmail.com, thank you!

Well hello from cloudy Northern IL. I just found your videos and subscribed. I think we are related, haha, because I have a similar trailer (8×16 vnose) that I am converting. And I will pull it will a 2013 F150 4×4 too. I did buy it used and it has the rear ramp. I too will be hauling a motorcycle! I am also planning to have my bed fold up to the wall like yours! I am also planning to have a dual fuel generator. Too many coincidences? But right now it’s cold and gloomy here so I’m watching you and getting enthused! Thanks for sharing! Rosco.

Good overall video & review, thanks. I too have the same exact generator & I am VERY happy with it! It performs VERY well & I find it to be a very handsome unit! I once ran four average size refrigerators, a front loader washing machine, 4 × 40 watt LED house lights & was charging up 4 misc. Phone, tablet etc. devices all at the same time & it ran like a champ all the while!. I did run 2 × 50′ 12 gauge main extention cords & 2 × heavy duty 12 gauge 3 way splitters, 2 heavy duty power strips, a round cord wrap with 4 × 120 plugin’s & plug in the refrigerators one at a time so to not possibly max out the 4475 peak max watts rating as I ran it all on propane. Believe me it all smoothly worked & for 14 continues hours as I was using a 30 lb propane tank & after I had ran it for 21 total hours I STILL had about 10 to 15% propane left in my propane take! Excellent & handsome unit & it has all the included extra goodies & accessories (wheels, electric starter, volt, hertz, hour meter, dual fuel etc). I literally ran the majority of my home when our electricity went out. And after I washed clothes with everything going I unplugged the washer, plugged in the gas dryer & ran that too! All the while none of the power strips popped nor did the generators’ breaker’s pop. And never did the generator strain & both the hertz & volt’s were well within spec’s. I also own the big brother to this unit, Champion’s big 9,000 peak dual fuel unit from Costco. I have yet to unbox it but well soon to give it it’s first run & test. It does have more features & power output of course along with a generous 10 gauge 25′ foot cord × 4 120’s & will eventually be set up to a electrical box configuration so I can send power into the entire home from one location. This Champion big brother also looks similar to this model (76533) which I also find very handsome as well! And last of all the model 76533, the unit in video is excellent to grab & go & use out in the middle of no where in case a dire situation occurs & one had to run for the mountains. I find it’s weight & size reasonable to pick up & put into most 4 door sedans, trucks & Van’s. Truly a fair amount of portable power to bring ANYWHERE to deliver more power that’s needed for most portable situations & RV’s. I highly recommend this Champion model for those reasons!
