I’m thinking your TRAP device contains a TVS diode and/or a crowbar varistor like a SIDACtor with an accompanying fuse. SIDACs react extremely fast.

Have you ever tested Alon for EMP resistance in place of windows?
Sir I hope you’re feeling better, sir with all due respect ,I’m truly just asking for suggestions on how to do these layers, I have raw carbon, I tried to get atomized iron, sir I am not some weird person, I more than believe that what I’m experiencing is a result of RF frequency ,it is truly unsettling and it is affecting my health, sir I do not have the financial stability to buy EMF shield and paint and the grounding apparatus, if you could please inform me of how you would create these layers, and a way to do it myself , I can get raw material and make it mysel,f is there some kind of way I can get better permeability from this carbon? I hope I’m saying that right I’ve researched, so This truly is affecting my health , please forgive me if I seem forward I mean no disrespect, I truly belove your an expert in this field of science.

Hey Doc, I just found your channel. I’m not much of a prepper but I am a new amateur radio enthusiast just learning about electronics and I find this super interesting. I’m probably going to build some faraday cages soon. I have some nerd questions I was hoping you could answer (You don’t have to get too specific, I’m not trying to steal any business. I can barely solder right now)
1) Does the T.A.R.P use zener diodes in it’s construction? I just learned about them studying for my general class. I know they work really fast, but can only handle low wattage so it would have to be way more complex… just curious to see if I’m catching on to this stuff.
2) I was watching the video on whole house EMP. Could you use one of the really big toroid rings with lots of windings or maybe a few in series to accomplish the same thing as the ferrites or would they still get saturated? (I’m promise I’m not about to open my panel and start winding up rings. It’s a purely impractical hypothetical question from someone trying to understand this stuff better)
