Could you comment on the thing being sold all over the internet and YT called “EMP Shield?” I’m 99% sure it’s snake oil. I don’t see how it can do all that claim and am very skeptical. They have all sorts of testing, but when I read the warranty it said it was only warranted against lightening strikes. But on the website they “guarantee” it’ll protect against an EMP/CME. MY BS meter is in the red on this company. You have a degree and good testing equipment, but they claim their device is rated to various govt. standards and “passed all the tests.” You would be doing the prepper, and population in general, a great service if you could test and comment on that thing. Personally I think it’s just a surge protector, but they cover it up and hide what is in the box. So who knows what’s in there. Thank you!

I have a question about your T R.A.P device. If hooked up to a Lithium batt or a LIFEPO4 BATT to the POS and Neg terminals will it protect it against both Radiant and Transident forms of energy, because in a lithium batt or a LIFEPO4 BATT is a BMS that’s basically a digital logic or circuut board regulating power flow into and out of the battery. Without this working logic circuit you have a very expensive paper weight.

Question: how would Iridium communication satellites (or similar) be affected by CME or H-EMP?
Question. Would an EMP effect a two way hand held radio antenna as on a baofeng or Motorola, just the antenna stored away from radio? Not the radio, the antenna alone?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Dr. Bradley! I’ve learned something new today. It’s nice to know that another Carrington Event type of CME would still wreck our power grid like it played havoc on telegraph lines back in 1859, but won’t necessarily wreck all of the electronics we rely on today. I had no idea and that completely changes how one could try to defend against and mitigate the effects.
It was great to meet you today. This is an excellent video and I feel very informed on emps.
