    Maybe more coils and more magnets on both sides of the bar to make up for the lack of movement and move them closer together

    I take it the wind’s coming over the top? What if you added a turbine like that roof line one, but just above the bar’s maximum top oscillation.
    i’m thinking about a small one, about the same width and height as the bar to start with…

    Could you catch some extra wind there?

    Spring tension should be calibrated to counteract gravity, maybe.
